The past year and half has been full of uncertainty, fear and trauma. The pandemic has been particularly hard on women.
We have been holding on to our own fear while simultaneously holding the emotions of those in our family. Our jobs and lives have been intertwined in a way that is now confusing and perhaps even impossible to maintain. We have managed our children’s fears, their education, and health on a whole new level. We have experienced less support from our friends at a time when we needed it most. There is a heaviness we all need to acknowledge and look for ways to release.
Chronic stress leads to burn out and many of us are experiencing just that. Burn Out! Find ways to release stress and move it out of your body. Letting go of the daily stress through exercise, dancing, screaming, or even hitting a pillow can make all the difference.
